GSAP JS for animations rather than jQuery
Alex Maughan (http://coderwall.com/alexmaughan) pointed out to me today that GSAP (GreenSock Animation platform) has a JS flavour: http://www.greensock.com/gsap-js/
jQuery for basic smartphones (3GS, BB, etc) is a no-no, so GASP looks like a good fit. Check out the speed comparisons at: http://www.greensock.com/js/speed.html

JavaScript on a page runs with the privileges of that origin. One altered library, tag manager, or snippet can read inputs, change what people see, and call your APIs as the user.
